Our History
Roberta Baptist Church has been serving the Concord and adjacent communities for over 120 years. Its longevity is due to the truth of the Bible being preached regardless of changing times.
Our Statement of Faith
THE SCRIPTURES
We believe the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testament to be the verbally and plenary inspired Word of God. The Scriptures are inerrant, infallible and God-breathed, and therefore are the final authority for faith and life. The sixty-six books of the Old and New Testament are the complete and divine revelation of God to man.
2 Timothy 2:16-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21; Psalm 12:6-7
THE GODHEAD
We believe the Godhead eternally exists in three persons (the Trinity), Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. These three are one God, having precisely the same nature attributes, and perfections. We believe Jesus Christ is eternal in His existence. He came to earth by means of a virgin birth. His death on the cross is the atonement for sin. His literal bodily resurrection from the dead. His personal return to earth. We believe in the Holy Spirit as the third person of the Godhead. He convicts men of sin; regenerates, indwells, seals, and sets believers apart unto a holy life. The Holy Spirit is the teacher of the Word of God and guide for a christians daily life.

SALVATION
We believe that salvation is solely by grace through faith in the blood sacrifice, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ the Son of God. All who receive Jesus Christ by confession of sin and repentance are regenerated by the Holy Spirit and become children of God. All who are truly saved are kept forever and cannot lose their salvation.
Ephesians 2:8-9; John 1:12; John10:17-29
THE CHURCH
We believe that the local church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ, is solely made up of born-again believers. We believe that the establishment and continuance of local churches is clearly taught and defined in the New Testament.
